Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at our medical office based surgical suite. As a PACU Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients recovering from anesthesia. Your expertise and attention to detail will ensure a safe and comfortable transition for patients as they recover from surgery.

Duties:
- Monitor patients' vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels
- Assess patients' pain levels and administer appropriate pain management techniques
- Monitor patients for any signs of complications or adverse reactions to anesthesia
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding post-operative care and recovery
- Assist with the transportation of patients to and from the PACU
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately and timely

Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a PACU.
- BLS certification required
- Strong knowledge of post-operative care protocols and anesthesia recovery processes
- Proficient in IV insertion and infusion techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Skills:
The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following skills:
- Experience in PACU
- Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgement

Pay: $35.00 - $39.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 8 per week
